HELVETIA 2022
The Emirates Philatelic Association (EPA) participated in the HELVETIA 2022 World Stamp Exhibition held from 18 – 22 May 2022 in Lugano, Switzerland. The exhibitors from more than 50 countries participated in the show.
EPA participants in the exhibition won a number of laurels for their entries. Mr. Ahmad Bin Eisa Alserkal won a gold medal for his exhibit “A Postal History Study of Airmail from Iraq 1919-1945”,
Mr. Omar Mohammad Ahmad won a Vermeil Medal for his exhibit “A Glance on Stamps Used in Dubai”, Mr. Naseer bin Ahmad Alserkal won a Vermeil medal for “Dubai Stamps”, Mr. Shafiq Awan also won a Vermeil medal for his exhibit “Postal Marking of Britain”
Mr. Ali Abdulrahman Ahmad Ali was a National Commissioner and Mr. Muhammad Javaid was invited as a Jury from the United Arab Emirates.
These achievements have enhanced the UAE's prestige in the world of philately. It is a great honor for the country to achieve these successes.
