The 7'" GCC Postage Stamps Exhibition UAE 2001

The post constitutes the biggest international network worldwide for conveyance and exchange of communication. It has played a prominent role in establishing the bases of civilizations, progress and comprehensive development. The c postage stamp is considered as one of the most simplest and easiest ways to convey and exchange communication, and it reflects the most important events and developments of a country. 

To this end, Emirates Post has organized the 7th GCC Postage Stamps Exhibition -UAE 2001 at Deira City Centre in Dubai from 7th to 11th of October 2001. This exhibition will encompass stamps issued by the UAE, in addition to stamps by other Postal Administrations and Philatelists from GCC countries. 

Organizing such exhibitions is considered as a confirmation on the importance of co-operation among GCC countries to exchange different ideas and postal experiences, as well as the latest trends. 

This event will also help to develop and encourage philately which plays an educational role in knowledge development especially among youth and school children. Furthermore, the exhibition will provide an opportunity to the stamp collectors from GCC countries to J exchange new ideas as well as new and modern technology used in the world of stamps. This indirectly J assists in the promotion and development of the cultural and artistic abilities of philatelists.
