THE COMMERCIAL BANK OF DUBAI LIMITED 1969 -1989

The Commercial Bank of Dubai Limited was incorporated by the Ruler's Decree in 1969 as a limited company owned by some Arab & Foreign Banks.

In 1982 the Bank was restructured into a public limited company having the ownership of the Government of Dubai (20%) and renowned UAE Nationals (80%).

The Capital was increased to an Authorised Capital of Dh. 500 Million and paid Up Capital of Dh. 200 Million. The Bank occupies a distinguished rank among the operating banks in the UAE and maintains an excellent reputation in the local and international financial markets. The. Bank offers a comprehensive range of banking facilities and customer services through its branches in the UAE and its correspondents throughout the World.

The Bank utilizes modern techniques in its operations including installation of A TM machines at all its branches.

The Bank has participated in the last two decades in the service of UAE economy and both, nationals and residents in the UAE.
