The General Postal Authority adopted the selection of a number of children paintings organised by the cultural institutes of the country, in order to be used in the designs of the stamp issues. This ensure the role and importance of this tradition as a factor of education and cu1ture in order to improve and develop the potentialities and experiences of the children. 

This year a number of children paintings has been selected out of the activities exercised through the artistic exhibitions organised by Abu Dhabi Cultural Society which was established in 1981 aiming to secure the artistic and cultural activities and to develop this role. 

The childhood world is a world of honesty and truth. A world full of compassions and contradicted nice motions by which they express simply and easily their childhood, try to live in their own world and conduct their own life through that.
