DESERT FLOWERS

In U. A. E. there are various desert plants arised especially during the season of rain, such as thorny shrub, Egyption thorn, Thorn tree, Tamarisk, Turffle etc, these plants divided into two types: Permenent plants and Seasonal plants.

Its marvelous to note the natural transformation in these plants in order to homogenize with environment, whereas leafs of some plants transform to become thorns or pipes in order to reduce evaporating the water and others root going deepinthe soil in order to suck the moisture.

The use of such plants that some of it entered in the medical contents of medicines beside using it in grazing and it plays a fundemental role in balancing the temperature and reducing pollution.

These trees playa big role to maintain enviroment from pollution as 50% of the available oxygen produced by these trees and it became true scientifically that these trees absorb the noise which effect iIirecrly the nervous system of the human being. There are many types of these trees such as : Jasmine, Oleander, Mint, Basil etc, In general, the trees have a great importance to protect cities from storms and sands if its planted as a green belt surrounding the cities.
