His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces ( May God protect him), issued on May, 28 , 2014, Federal Law No. (6) of 2014 concerning national service and reserve. The enactment of this law is considered a major step in the history of the country, as it reflects the wise leadership’s vision of national security and development of citizens, on the basis of constitutional principles, particularly Article No. (43) which states that defense of the Union is a sacred duty, imposed on every citizen and the performance of national service is an honour for the citizens, regulated by law. The UAE has implemented national service as it is the strategic tool whereby security, political, social, national and economic challenges can be managed. This can be achieved by focusing on the Emirati citizen who is considered the pivot of development. Size: 30 x 40 mm in sheets of 10 stamps.
