European Championship for Thematic Philately 2027

The European Championship for Thematic Philately (ECTP) brings the best European thematic exhibits together in one exhibition. First held in 2006, it is recognised by FEPA as the official European championship for thematic philately, and in 2027 FEPA grants it special patronage. Exhibits scoring more than 85 points for the first time qualify for 8 frames at later FEPA exhibitions.

The 2027 edition is part of the exhibition marking the 75th anniversary of the Swiss Motif Collectors' Association (SMV) in Bulle, Canton of Fribourg. It is organised by the Federation of Swiss Philatelic Societies, hosted by the SMV with the Club Philatélique de Bulle. Jury recommendations, discussions between exhibitors and a seminar and training programme are central to it.
