What it holds
The website of the Emirates Philatelic Association is a working library and toolbox for collectors and exhibitors of UAE and Gulf philately, in Arabic and English.

How facts are kept
- Sources
- Every catalogue record names its sources. A record built from one source says so and is marked as a draft.
- Check status
- Draft: built from public sources, not yet compared with a second source. Checked: compared with more than one source. Confirmed: confirmed by the association.
- Open questions
- Where sources disagree the record says so plainly instead of choosing quietly.
- Record history
- Every record keeps a dated list of what changed.
- Corrections
- Anyone can suggest a correction from a record. The association reads every one before a record changes.
- Images
- Stamp images appear only when they come from the association or its members, or with the issuer’s permission.
- Catalogue numbers
- The site does not copy the numbering of commercial catalogues; it may cite them as references.
Free and members-only
Everything described here is free to read without an account. An account is needed only to keep a personal collection and to join the association. The shop also works without one.
Privacy
The site has no analytics and no advertising trackers. Photos used by the measuring tool stay on your device. A cookie is set only when you sign in, to keep you signed in.
Citing the site
Every catalogue record has its own page with a ready citation. Cite the record page and the date you read it, since records are updated as sources are checked.
